Russian climate conditions pose severe challenges for machines and buckets. Extreme temperatures combined with the harsh conditions of iron ore mines demand for an accurate selection of steel plates, thicknesses and reinforcements.

Optimal balance between loading capacity, resistance to wear, structural robustness and resistance to the elements was reached on this 18 m3 XHD bucket for CATERPILLAR 994K, where customer’s inputs have been carefully considered throughout the designing phase.
